The book has been out for a week now, and I couldn't be more excited! I've actually had 3 sales before it officially released and one more, making a total of 4 so far. Now, I had started out with 50, and 20 I managed to give freely to those who helped my in my journey. So, while it probably took a hit from making sales, it did help get my story out there which was much more important. Along with those 20 books and 4 sales, I have taken one to each of our local public libraries as donation with one more to go and 3 to sell at Carolina Coffee N' Creamery. IF my calculations are correct (click-click-click) I have approximately 16-18 PHYSICAL COPIES LEFT.
This is very important because everything passed these first 50 copies will probably end up being print-on-demand for a while. In simpler terms, this first batch of books costed a lot to cook, SO I may wait before ordering more. I also hope to check out larger areas such as Charlotte and Greensboro too to gain more traction. Even if YOU don't like the book, please help me spread the word. I'm not worried about making a lot of sales or money off this, but it is still something important to me, more meaningful however to someone who will actually read the book.
I'm a very busy person and as a writer with several other writer friends, I honestly don't read many books from people I don't know. The last full series that managed to keep my attention was Mark Walden's H.I.V.E. books, but my main concern is finding people who not just buy the book, but people who appreciate and read it too.
Remember, not too many copies left, so if you want a copy of the literal FIRST prints of my novel, be sure to message me so we can arrange a meet up; and of course it will be signed.
